WELCOME! Thanks for taking a ride with us on Division 11, also known as "the I-80 group". We are the newest division in the MCR, with a great deal of activity spread through fairly isolated areas, linked by Interstate 80, passion for railroading, experienced modelers, extensive layouts, and zest for building and operating in scale. We invite your participation and interest. Aside from membership in the MCR, we have no dues requirements. What we do have is talent and fun, and we enjoy sharing both with our regulars and their guests. The newsletters give details on meeting sights, and the officer list has e-mail and phone information if you would like to attend any function. Our division membership also keeps in close contact with surrounding divisions, our region, and the National Model Railroad Association. We look forward to seeing you at conventions, and on the web. To access the site of the NMRA for information elsewhere, click the logo top left. Thanks for your visit. Clarion, PA First Saturday in April 2005 Wood Street United Methodist Church |

ACTIVITIES:
Monthly meetings are scheduled throughout the year at clubs and homes. Guests are welcome at the invitation of Division 11 members. Family are especially welcome at our Picnic and Banquet. Refreshments are always provided. Meetings are short, yet packed with activities and announcements. The date, time, and illustrated directions are provided in our monthly publication, the KEYSTONE CORRIDOR Our JAMBOREE is advertised for each April. Visiting clubs and divisions join guests and local enthusiasts to share in quality clinics, auctions, displays, and sharing the wealth of our hobby experience. BRING & BRAG is our monthly version of contests. We have an elaborate scheme to award points for models and displays which meet the theme criteria published for each meeting. Points accumulate through the year until at the banquet we have a final determination and award our winners. Members enjoy talking up their latest creation, or at least explaining the dust on something they have kept hidden away. And then, from time to time, we get together for a Special Event. The division has gone on fan trips, shop outings, visits to other divisions, public displays, and much more over the years. We do know how to have fun.

LAYOUT HELP! Most people who have layouts have always wanted to have, or to work to have the PERFECT layout. Our member Bob Hartle has come up with a guide for a low maintenance layout. A check list, concerns, tips, and ALL other NECESSARY yet evil tasks no one wants to talk about, or no one KNOWS about! The doctor is in, and he has the cure: |
